Happy Birthday Dad!

The meeting of the minds...lol.

Dad opening his gifts..this one had diet mountain dew and chewbacko...as lil Aaron calls it.Dad celebrated his 76th Birthday yesterday, June 16...we surprised him with a pizza party and ice cream cake. We were all there except for Adam and he was missed terribly by me, but he will be home this weekend. The above picture is Dad with his 2 youngest grandsons and his great grandson...they refer to themselves as the 3 stooges...and there is never a dull moment when these 3 get together...or should I say 4 since Dad is the biggest instigator.

Here are a few more pictures of the evening.

Catchin' up

Jeez, how time seems to get away from me. I've been so busy with The American Cancer Society's Relay for Life...it was June 5 and our team did extremely well. We raised 13, 740.00 this year with a grand total of all teams raising $65,000.00!! Then the next week I was director of our church's Vacation Bible School...so it was work until 5 then VBS from 6 to 8:30....it's a good thing I have a very understanding hubby. So this week I am just trying to get things caught up so I can enjoy my new grandbaby next week. Nicole is scheduled for a c-section this Friday, June 19. Adam will be home also late on the 19th to spend a few days...we have certainly missed him but I think he is enjoying his internship this summer and we recieved good news that he made the Dean's List again!! Great job Adam!! Here are a few pictures...we also have a new grand-puppy..his name is Spike.
Aaron completing the first lap...the survivor lap..this is always emotional.
Aaron, Nicole and lil Aaron, oh yeah and Spike of course.
Well, lil Aaron is getting braver with his puppy, he will actually hold him now.

Lil Aaron was practicing his picture taking...so these he took of great grandma and me.
Watch for new pictures soon of the new grandbaby!!
